Bloodlust and Innocence

With her past she sharpened
her sword
and dispatches the dragon.
His head flops
from his neck
on the ground.
She bathes in his blood
to obtain immortality
This should be
Where the story in fairytales ends
but they are more monsters
out there
with claws and teeth
Most of them are just not dragons. .
Close to Siegfried
Love betrays her
when she tries to trick
a happy end.
I can’t promise
to slay the monsters
but when in fight
you drop your weapon
in exhaustion.
I will pick it up
And fight
till I die in battle
or vanish in your mind.
