Doubt

She didn’t have the bravery
at first
to raise a word
let alone to play with a thought
and then water
shot out of her mouth,
chunks of wisdom fell
but she said nothing.
I wasn’t brave enough
to do something.
The path of the warrior
is full of bravery
and conquering
when skulls crack
underneath his boots;
I turn around for every crackle
The warrior dies
out of honor
and I die out
of fear.
